18 Days in Alaska & British Columbia

Who hasn’t wondered what the Alaska Highway is like?    We had the same thoughts and set out with our collaborators from Poggio Amorelli Bed & Breakfast and Masterchef contenstant Angela Marie Perkins in a recreational vehicle looking for scenery, wildlife and the best food of the region.   We were honored to be hosted by the Juneau Tourism office for a delightful day with the Jorgenson House Bed & Breakfast to cook local specialities with their chefs and include these recipes in our book.

Our collaborative process provides images, narrative and recipes from chefs in the region.   The itinerary is geared toward driving the complete Alaska Highway but includes travel on the maritime ferry and a visit to the Alaska State Fair.
